A mountain restaurant must offer good ambience or good food; even better, both. And if neither, then at least hold out for "cheap and cheerful".
Regrettably the restaurant is charmless, and the food is very ordinary, the prices are not particularly cheap, and in spite of the good natured waitress, the whole experience was far from cheerful.
The high point of our visit was the toilet facilities, which were very clean and orderly. As it took one hour between our arrival in the restaurant and the arrival of the food, gave me plenty of time to check, and recheck, these most excellent toilets. Wherein lies the problem? 1 waitress for a roomful of guests.
And finally, the credit card machine malfunctioned, so we took a banking slip away with us to make a transfer at a later date. Ho hum. That's what they call running a business.
