We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights as part of a tour of Piemonte. Lovely, historic surroundings and friendly staff made our stay memorable. Reception staff helped with making and changing bookings and were pleasant. Rooms were very comfortable with good Wifi and not noisy although a little warm... and we couldn't figure out how to change the temp. Traditional menu in the restaurant provided a good sample of local produce with attentive service. The lounge for coffee and drinks was nice and we preferred it's relaxed attitude. Breakfast was excellent. We didn't get a chance to use the pool or spa areas but they looked nice. A walk through historic Pollenzo is a must and this makes a great base for Piemonte touring.

Wonderful stay. We had the cannubi suite with his and hers bathrooms. They didn't offer conditioner or body lotion which I found strange. The room was spacious and clean other wise. No American channels but free wi-fi that at times was slow.
Pool area had a lot of bees but everything was clean. Small gym area. Breakfast was okay but satisfying. Dinner in the property was good. They have a full bar and a gelato station (that I thoroughly enjoyed). Turn down service doesn't change your soiled towels? They have what I would call a courtyard / park that is inviting in the evenings. One night they even had a DJ playing music very nice touch. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would return. About 1/2 hour from Neive, la Morra, Barbaresco, Bra or Barolo.

Great place to stay. Also with small children like everywhere in Italy.

Clean. Leader sofas in the room smelled. Otherwise top.

Nice staff rounds up the stay.

Excellent food and good breakfast.

Excellent wine choice also for open wines. But what do you expect in the heart of the piemont.

What a wonderful treasure. We spent the morning at the Banca del Vino having a tour of the wine cellar and learning about the college at the site. Although we did not stay at the hotel I did have an opportunity to visit all the amenities.

We returned to the hotel in the evening to enjoy a wonderful dining experience in the hotel restaurant. We were treated to a culinary treat with foods prepared from the Piemonte, Emilia-Romagna and Calabria regions by 4 chefs and wine paring from the Umani Ronchi winery.

I was so impressed that I am adding a stop here in Pollenzo on my next visit to Italy to enjoy the relaxing amenities of this hotel.

I went to to the Albergo by myself for a mixed business/holiday trip, and was pleasantly surprised even if I had high expectations. I have traveled extensively to 4 and 5 star hotels, but the service I had in this hotel was one of the best I have ever experienced. Friendly, immediate, and genuine. The rooms were big and clean, with very comfortable beds (and amazing bedding - Quagliotti sheets, the same as in the Paris Ritz). Nice, clean pool and turkish bath. Great food (the Bra sausage is amazing), great breakfast, and friendly wait staff in the hotel restaurant who were happy to discuss the wines (from the Banca del Vino) and serve me by the glass. The location requires a car, but the wine region is close, and so is Alba for shopping. Don't miss getting a rosemary foccacia at the corner bakery, or the home made jams at nearby store I Frutti della mia Langa.

Travelled here for a conference. A good choice for this sort of event. Nice outside decks for pre-dinner drinks, an amazing restaurant, a wine cellar that is sort of a time capsule for wines of the Region (and Italy) and decent rooms for meetings. (However, the acoustics in the meeting rooms weren't good.) All in an amazing surrounding. The pictures on Trip Advisor for the Albergo look exactly like the day we were there. Even though the staff were friendly and the location is beautiful I'm not sure how it would feel for a getaway. It's a little too big and seemed to lack intimacy. Even so, my room was nice with a small terrace and extraordinary views. If you are planning an offsite this would be good choice.

a small and dark room, restaurant far from being a "slow food icon", a bar waiter very annoyed to snuff his sigarette in order to serve us.. do you need other comments about it?
