“Left me high and dry”

I made a booing at this hotel for the weekend of next years Monaco Grand Prix, once I had received confirmation I booked my flights.
A few days later they must have realised they had forgotten to increase their prices for the Monaco Grand Prix weekend and cancelled my booking. By this time all other hotels in Monaco had either sold out or were very, very expensive.
I have only rated them below on service as that is my only experience of the hotel but the service I received from them was very, very poor.

Great location, right on the Monaco border, just a flight of stairs to Place des Moulins and city attractions. Great view over the sea (worth the extra charge). Helpful staff, even late at night (and if you speak French, even better). Fairly clean and pretty well kept all through the five nights stay. Not a luxury place by any means, but a great choice for exploring Monaco and the surroundings. Would stay again for a similar trip. The WiFi works well, pretty good TV coverage as well (French, Italian & German channels).

Room Tip: If & when you can, request a room with a view of the sea & from an upper floor.

A perfect locations for this price. Nice, through to Ventimiglia are so easily accessible from Monaco rail station (both 20 mins away). Menton is great for beach and shopping 10 mins by train. Monaco station is a 15 minute walk, as is the Grand Casino. All of Monaco all within walking distance. Certain fitness required to navigate very steep hills. Bring comfortable shoes!!!! Studio apartment had large and comfy sofa bed and plenty of room. Very spacious and well equipped. Sea view apartments very quiet. Road side much noisier, but there are thick blackout shutters which help. Good choice.

Room Tip: Sea view worth the extra for the quiet.

This is Apart\ Hotel is run by the French O'Daly group and Jardins D' Elisa is very convenient to Monte Carlo and everything that goes on there. The elevator from the apartments takes you down to the main street in Monte Carlo. We had a two bed with nice view, balcony, and a car space. Take care when you rent a car that you do not go for a large one as it will NOT fit down the drive way to the underground parking . Apartment was air conditioned and staff were indeed very friendly. Cannot fault this place and its the second time I stayed there. Price is also reasonable but if there is something big on in Monaco, the prices hit the roof. Furniture tended to be rather cheap but they have a sofa couch . The TV was disappointing with only 2 English news channels . One bed in the bedroom could have been better but the other one was good. Overall very nice and certainly got the edge on apartments in Spain. A good 3 star experience and would recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view apartment, they are quieter . Keep car small in size.

We had a studio appartment. It was clean, large & bright but with pitch black electric shutters which gave us a dark quiet nights sleep. The sofa bed was very comfortable better than some beds! The veranda had a sea view & was spacious. The kitchette is adequate for 2 & fridge bonus. The reception is closed 12-4pm and it is up hill but ok once you have worked out the lift system & have a map. But not for the unfit even so. But the whole of Monte Carlo is hilly.
We would recommend & stay again

Room Tip: go for sea view near the Monte carlo lifts

Six of us shared a two bedroomed apartment for 3 nights. 3 huge beds, a lovely kitchen, massive balcony and no fighting over the bathrooms. Air conditioning was included and plenty of hot water in the showers. The price was incredibly reasonable for the view over Monaco, 10 minute walk down to Casino Square, 15 to the beach.
Reception was closed between 12 and 4pm every day so don't bother trying to check in between these times. We sat in the Savannah cafe down at the end of the Boulevard de la Republique and soaked up the sun and some normal priced drinks.
The only downside about these apartments is the distance to the nearest grocery shop (a lively 5 minute walk) and the dreaded walk home (we splashed out on taxis but they were scarce)

Room Tip: Make sure you have a sea view, road view is a wall

After 15 days travelling around europe, this was the worse experiences we had in our trip.
The front desk was not opened AT ALL when we arrived. We knew the check in was at 4 but wanted to drop off our car and our luggage. You cannot even enter the building before 3 pm.
It ended up we got stuck in the garage for 45 minutes(as we entered but didn’t have a code we couldn’t reverse the car on the hills of Monaco). Than after getting the code and checking in around 3:30 we go to the room and see we don’t have a bed, but a sofa bed.My boyfriend didn’t fit on it. The called “kitchen” was dirty and they didn’t change the trash plastic so when we opened the closet where it was seating, the smell was unbearable. The fridge was also smelly.
They left a couple of cleaning material in the balcony that didn’t look at all like the beautiful pictures posted on the website.
By far it was the most disappointing experience we had on our trip and so frustrating with the garage and bed situation.
The pictures I saw online don't match at all what you can get. A couple of cab drivers from the area told me this hotel has horrible reputation in the city. Never again!

Room Tip: Pay a little more and stay somewhere else. It's not worth it to save and sleep in a sofa bed.
