Everything was great about our stay. The accomodations, the people, the food. Every detail was handled with a personal touch. Restaurants, winery visits, places to visit We had such a great time. .

After a 30 hour travel day, we arrived at this dreamlike heaven, greeted warmly by Shelly. We stayed a week, and we highly recommend this length of stay as there is so much to discover in Tuscany, and you can take day excursions after you eat a hearty Italian breakfast. Cappuccinos, frittatas, baked goods and fruit- just right and perfect. Fabio always bakes a fresh baked item. Sal, Antonio and Shelly are so knowledgeable about Italy- truly more so than any tour guides. They also give amazingly perfect directions. This foursome are so delightful, I am sure all who stay here feel like close family. 1-2 x / wk, they cook up a not to be missed dinner. Absolutely our favorite meals after two weeks in Italy. Accomodations- wow. Felt like high end luxury with at home atmosphere. Beds are so comfortable I find myself wanting to go back right now. Sal told me a nice running route. After you spend the day exploring Tuscany, you come back and relax by the pool. We are a family of six, various ages. All of us are in love with this wonderful place and that includes you, Sal, Shelly, Antonio and Fabio. We hope you will put in a soccer field so we have an excuse to return - for soccer camp. ;)

We spent 2 nights at the Castello delle Serre a week ago and what a magical place it is!
The setting, the village of Serre di Rapalano, scenery and the food.
We were fortunate enough to arrive on the night that our lovely hosts were cooking dinner for their guests and I have no hesitation in saying that it was the best meal that we had in the whole of Italy. It was very special.
We look forward to spending time at Castello and Siena again and soon.

Room Tip: There are numerous options, so be selective and choose the best that you can get.

Truly a highlight of our trip to Tuscany.. To echo others I would say it's not only just the beautiful setting - the lovingly restored castle in a cute, sleepy village in Italy - but also the intimacy of the place. The owners make you feel very welcome, and I can't say enough about the homemade meals, the care in helping to plan day trips, the great recommendations which served us very well as we explored the countryside. We would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a unique and beautiful experience in Tuscany. We will be back, and we'll be dreaming of this place and the memories we made there in the meantime!

Fantastic place in a wonderful setting, with awesome views. Run by a lovely family, the place has a great ambience and good facilities. Room are simply furnished and comfortable with good modern bathrooms. They do a a dinner for guests a few times a week - without doubt the best food we had during our 7 days in Tuscany. Most definitely a place to return to.
