Faultless. A friendly welcome , beautifully appointed rooms. Easy access to Bathand the surrounding areas. Very nice breakfasts. I would thoroughly recommend this very upmarket B & B. We will be staying again.

We have just had a lovely two night stay at The Old Parsonage. The house is stunning and the rooms are large with a shower to die for (already nagging about having one at home lol) Tim and Jo are excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and really set us up for a busy day in Bath. Beckington is a lovely village and we ate at the Forresters Pub where the food is excellent and the landlord was very welcoming. We hope to return to Bath for many more trips in the future and we think we have found our home from home in The Old Parsonage. Thank you Tim and Jo

We have just spent four most enjoyable days at the Old Parsonage,
It is a lovely property and the room we occupied was large and very comfortable. The breakfasts were superb and the hosts, Tim and Jo, were friendly and helpful.
Parking was brilliant, as the property has a large frontage, which is capable of accommodating a number of cars.
The house is very peaceful ,as it is situated in a quiet area of Beckington and from the windows there is a nice view of the countryside.
Beckington is a convenient area in which to stay as it is only a short drive from Bath and Bradford on Avon, which are great places to visit.
For anyone holidaying, a visit to Stourhead (National Trust Garden) is a "must" and other places to visit include Laycock (also Nat Trust and home of Photography) and Wells.
There are a number of very good eating places in and around Beckington.
Altogether the Old Parsonage is a perfect place to stay.

I can only agree with all the other reviewers about this B&B. Tim and Jo are wonderful hosts, their home is stunning, the quality of the fixtures and furnishings of our room was first rate, the breakfasts were great, the location to Bath and surrounding towns was excellent, it was walking distance to the Woolpack Inn - what more can I say. We had a laundry disaster when the dryers in the Laundromat in Salisbury were all broken, leaving us with a bag full of wet washing. Tim and Jo very kindly put our laundry through their dryer and Jo even folded it! This property was definitely the standout in our 2 week holiday in rural England and I thoroughly recommend it.

My family of three stayed in many lovely B&Bs during our recent trip to the west of England and Wales (thanks Tripadvisor!). The Old Parsonage House was the best of all. Tim and Jo are the most wonderful, caring hosts. They made us feel so welcome and at home. They were always prepared to go the extra mile to make sure our holiday was a relaxed one. The house itself is just beautiful - clean and light. The family suite is extremely spacious and so comfortable. Breakfast was to die for! Beckington is a lovely village - small and quiet, but well serviced and close to so many places that we wanted to visit. We very much hope to return on our next trip to the UK. Many, many thanks, Tim and Jo.

Room Tip: The family suite is perfect for families of up to four.

We chose to stay at the Old Parsonage for three reasons, to avoid a crowd in Bath, to get the feel for rural England and the beautiful look of the place. Our expectations were exceeded on all counts and we discovered a new standard for friendly helpful service as well. The building was tastefully decorated, spacious (easily the largest we stayed in) and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts we're perfect but it was the level of helpfulness that really set this place apart. Beckington is a 25 minute bus ride from Bath, the buses run frequently except on Sundays when they don't start until 10:30, a fact we didn't realize when we booked a tour for 8:30. We asked Tim to book us a taxi, he got back to us "because it's Sunday you have to pay a premium and it would be 40 pounds, that's too much, Jo or I will drive you." He then contacted the tour company and made arrangements for them to pick us up nearby, a perfect solution. We were amazed at this commitment to guest satisfaction. Any future trips to England will absolutely include another visit to Tim, Jo and Beckington. Outstanding.
