“A lovely B&B in a perfect location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2012

We really enjoyed our weekend at Old Parsonage House and have already recommended it to friends and family. The room we stayed in (5) was modern, clean, spacious, comfortable and too be honest, flawless. Tim and Jo were very friendly and welcoming people and gave us some great tips on where to park and visit in Bath. The breakfast was extremely tasty and clearly made from fresh farm produce. The one recommendation I would give was that it could be slightly bigger (maybe 2 bits of that incredible bacon!). I would certainly not hesitate to return to Old Parsonage House.

Room Tip: Room 5 was huge!

Nice quiet country-side setting, excellent service and friendly proprietors.
Great full English breakfast using local farm-shop sausage (yummy!).
Nice big comfy rooms/bed (stayed in room 1)
Tea/coffee making facilty with fresh milk available, free wi-fi, good choice of TV chanels, nice local pub serving good food (Woolpack).
Central location for visiting Longleat, Cheddar, Wells, Bath, Glastonbury etc.

Room Tip: Room 1 & 2 on 1st floor, other 3 rooms on higher floor (didn't see inside other rooms so can...

We stayed overnight in the family suite and it was the best B&B that I've stayed in. The room was immaculate, clean and with ever so comfortable beds along with good quality bedding. The prices are very reasonable too. Will definitely stayed here again! Go for it, you won't regret it.

Tim and Jo are friendly and professional hosts. The building was beautiful, tasteful and clean throughout with lovely spacious rooms. Wonderful breakfasts cooked to order. Lovely village with a choice of 2 pubs serving food every day. The farm shop down the road was a pleasant surprise with a restaurant open in the evenings. Also on a direct bus route to Bath (20 mins).
We will definitely come here again.

Myself and my partner stayed for one night in August. Beautiful B&B with friendly owners. Our room was clean, spacious and finished to a high quality. Tea and coffee making facilities were avaliable in the room along with a useful information pack about the B&B and the local area. Beckington is a very pretty village and we enjoyed a pub tea in The Woolpack pub, only a short walk down the hill. Breakfast was lovely with high quality food. Would love to stay there again!

Excellent accommodation for a family - having a separate connected bedroom for the children completely removed that feeling of 'camping' that you get in places where you all have to share. Nicely finished rooms and excellent breakfast that more than covered my needs as a vegan - fresh pineapple being the best bit.
