We stayed in the family converted stable with our 18 month old son and we was made very welcome by Terry & Barbara. The room was a little dark but it was a stable and it added to the rural farm setting so it didn't bother us. Very clean, microwave, fridge kettle, free view TV all supplied and plenty of space. The farm was very quiet although plenty of animals roaming about outside the door. Everyone was very friendly and the full English breakfasts were amazing.
There's not much in the way of shops local, just a petrol station that didn't really stock what we wanted so take some grocerys with you to get started. We did find a tesco and other shops about 4 miles away. Overall fantastic and we will be back. Thank you.

What an amazing weekend I and my sons (age 9 and 10), had here. Beautiful scenery, a working farm, perfect for kids. Great welcome, accommodation, and food of exceptionally high standard and welcoming and comfortable.

Was really excited about going to stay at Eden Vale Farm after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. The rooms are homely, beds are comfortable and the fridge and microwave are really helpful. We stayed in the family stable unit. The separate room with bunk beds was a real bonus. We loved having all the animals to say hello to each day. The resident peacock is lovely and we named him Kevin which seemed to stick! Although there are cockerels amongst the animals the rooms are very quiet.
As the other reviews point out, the breakfast is wonderful. We had no problem giving our orders the night before because we couldn't wait to eat it the next morning.
After two nights at the B&B and two days at wonderful Longleat Safari Park, going back home and back to work made us very sad.
Cannot wait to go back.

Just had my third stay at Eden Vale, this lovely old Mill is in an wonderfull setting tucked away in beutiful countryside within stricking distance of Bath & the Badmington Horse trials. As usual Barbara's breakfasts were great using local produce & plenty of it!!
Rooms are very nice with everything you could need, would recommend a stay for anyone visiting the area looking for a quiet retreat.

The Feresters Arms public house is a short walk up the lane & also well worth a visit for an evening meal.

I arrived for a 4 night stay as I was on business locally. I loved this place: it was full of charm and character and I was very well hosted. I had a small problem with the wifi but after a very helpful chat we worked out what the problem was and then it boomed through.

Breakfast was particularly good with excellent food and a great view of a whole plethora of animals including an amazing peacock.

I really cannot find a single fault with this place, especially for the price. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Our 2 night stay at Eden Vale Farm was picked through the Dog friendly web site due to accepting dogs. A good choice indeed!!!
Our room was the Family room across in the stable block, with all amenities including a fridge and microwave oven. The room was comfatable and we settled in well.
The village of Beckington is only about 10 minutes walk from the farm with 2 pubs that allow dogs and serve food. ( tried both in our 2 night stay).
Breakfasts are served in the main house and they are prepared freshly for you. Farm eggs are fresh and yellow and taste nothing like supermarket eggs. Bacon is also home grown along with the sausages. Breakfasts were indeed excellent. Although thought that Barbara was horrified when requested a sausage for our dog.

Ideal location for attractions in area and for quietness.

Our family trip to Longleat 923rd November 2012) was capped off by a lovely evening at Eden Vale. The family room was already booked but it was no trouble for our hosts to set up an extra bed (with teddy bear sleeping bag) & a cot. Breakfast was excellent.

We managed to leave our bottle steraliser with all bar one of our babies milk bottles - this was posted back to us two days later without any fuss - thankyou :-)

We will definitely be going back & look forward to seeing the family suite.
