It claims to be the longest covered bridge in the world at over 1,200 ft. Neat to see and you can drive across it (one lane bridge, but you can drive both ways). If you are in the area, don't miss it. Who knows how long a wooden bridge will be there.

I live 10 minutes from this bridge and love to walk across it year round on our families walks. It is called the kissing bridge as many have gotten engaged in the middle of the walkway. Nice also because it is over 100 years old and if it is quiet you can almost hear the horses crossing.. Also it is free so that is nice as most tourist attractions have a cost assocaited with them. The bridge is special and is well worth the visit to this quaint little community

It wasn't far our of our way so we decided to go and see. It is lovely and exactly what I expected. We drove through and walked through and that was all there was too it! BUT... if it's not out of your way, go and see it. It is certainly long for a covered bridge!

We stopped to take photos and go for a walk while passing through. You can both drive over and walk across the bridge. Both sides have gift shop, but it's easier to park on the side opposite the main highway.

A very long covered bridge, in a nice town too.

Nearby are the McCain world headquarters, which aren't anything special but it's kinda fun to say you've seen them!

Worth the short 3-minute trek off the Trans-Canada.
