“Lovely Cottage, great value for money”
Reviewed December 8, 2012 for a stay in November 2012

We really enjoyed our stay at Sinbad cottage, it is a lovely fisherman's cottage very cosy, good heating, lovely decor and very light. The cottage has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances, good space for 4 to sit to the dining table, lovely big bath, good sized main bedroom & second bedroom. The cottage is small however we had 4 staying very comfortably. The stairs are steep but good hand rail provided. The owner Tina is a delight to deal with, very helpful. I would highly recommend this cottage, it exceeded our expectations and is excellent value for money!

“Lovely, cosy, beautifully presented cottage right by quayside”
Reviewed November 3, 2012 for a stay in October 2012

Fantastic location, lots of pubs and restaurants nearby..we spent nearly every day catching crabs at the quay. Cottage furnished to high standard with everything you would need. Very dog friendly place as well and welcoming. Would definitely go back.

“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed September 23, 2012 for a stay in September 2012

We stayed at Sinbad cottage for a week in September. We found the cottage tucked away just off The Quay, right in the heart of things in Appledore but away from any road noise. It was very clean and well equipped, we cooked several times and found everything we wanted in the kitchen and for the table. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom newly fitted with a really good shower. The little courtyard garden was a bonus and the weather was kind to us so we enjoyed lunch out there a few times. We thought overall the cottage was cosy, comforable and excellent value for money. It was nice that the dog was also welcomed with a bowl, a towel and a dinner mat provided for his use during our stay. Would love to stay here again sometime.

Liked best: The clean well equipped kitchen and the good shower.
Liked least: The bathroom being downstairs though we knew about that before we came and it wouldn't put us off staying again

“An excellent base for our short stay in Devon”
Reviewed September 9, 2012 for a stay in September 2012

We have just returned from our stay at Sinbad Cottage. We had everything we needed - the cottage is small and cosy, well equipped and ideally placed in this pretty town. Would have loved to stay longer!

“Comfortable, well equipped cottage - great for families with a dog”

We had a great week at the beginning of June in Devon. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and very clean. Had everything we needed although we mainly ate out as pubs all very dog friendly which makes life easier. The village is really quaint with lots of gift shops to wander about in. There was a arts festival on so there were extra activites going on. Plenty of places for good dog walks too.
