My boyfriend and I stayed in the Westward Cottage double room for three nights. I can't say enough nice things about the place. A fantastic 17th century cottage with many original features, delicious breakfast with fresh local products and excellent host.
I would not hesitate to recommend this b&b to anyone and book to stay here again.

We stayed here on the night of our wedding as married across the road at The Priory & the wonky upstairs was fab & fits in with the character of the building, we had the double room which overlooks the garden & the bed was comfy & bedding nice & snuggly. The room was lovely & clean & the new ensuite was a lovely touch.
The double bathroom with Jacuzzi bath down the hall was fab also.
2 of our guests stayed in the other rooms which made it better.
Breakfast was lovely, choice of cereal, toast or he offered to cook & my new husband had scrambled eggs made from fresh eggs from his garden, cream, herbs & ham on the side. lots of choice of jams.
Only note is his cat is wondering around but is very friendly

Room Tip: The room overlooking the garden is fab, tv in room with sky tv, ensuite, tea making facility, wardro...

Stayed at this B&B for 2 nights for a wedding at Priory Hall, The host was very welcoming and easy to get a long with. The beds were very comfortable and was able to fall asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. The selection of breakfast was top notch too with a variety of cereals, cooked breakfast and toast! On top of that the Eggs were as fresh as can be as they are reared by his own hens.

Highly Recommended for anyone attended a wedding in the area or wanting to explore the Hadleigh area.

Room Tip: If you book a single room you will not have a ensuite, but do not fret as the other 2 rooms are doub...

The beds are beautifully clean and dreadfully uncomfortable. Furniture broken and tatty and apparently collected at random from a charity shop. The doors jam and make a great clatter at night when one has to creep along the irregular creaking corridor to the bathroom. The breakfast a great disappointment. Cold ham served with fried eggs and a messy collection of odd ends of strange jam and little bits of craggy toast. I was ashamed of having taken a guest there.

Room Tip: Choose somewhere else

We stayed at this accommodation on the 19th May to attend a wedding at the local Priory. All the guest were at the wedding and all shared our opinion. It is full of old world charm.i
The place is not clean. Our room was basic but spoilt by things like a lipstick holding up the mirror. There are no en-suite facilities which is not spelt out on the web-site. A rug in the bedroom was not secured to the varnished wood floor and my wife slipped over on it. The owner was trying to attend the local agricultural show and we felt like an after thought. He had run out of tea bags, so we gave him some of ours! We were warned off the breakfast by another guest who hhad stopped 2 nights. So we just had toast. Cats wander around food preparation areas. Marmalade had mould growing in it! It was a disaster.

Room Tip: There isn't one.
