Popped into this restaurant one evening as we were staying at nearby Woodlands Holiday Park. Food was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has character and charm. We enjoyed our meal so much we booked to go again 3 nights later. The bar menu looked very good value for money at just £5.95 per meal but as we were on holiday we ate in the restaurant which is situated in a conservatory at the front of the building over looking the sea.

Booked a Sunday Dinner for myself and 5 family members.
The selection of food on offer was what you would expect from a carvery, the usual 3 meat choices with vegetables. But that is where the similarity ends...!!! The difference with the Cambrian Restaurant and other eateries that we have used for Sunday dinner outings is the wide and varied choice of vegetables and sundries that was on offer. There was so much choice in fact, that the only thing this jewel in the restaurant crown could improve on would be to have larger dinner plates to fit it all on as the portions were man size....!!! I personally would recommend the cauliflower cheese - absolutely the best cauliflower cheese I have ever tasted. The choice of desserts on offer was also good, again with tasty, flavoursome portions. I plumped for the trifle although judging by the appreciative sounds from the rest of the family, the crumble and sponge pudding options were obviously just as nice. The staff were warm and friendly and Steve and Gaynor are the perfect hosts. In short, a full and wholesome 2 course Sunday dinner with lots of choice, served with a welcoming smile, and all for under a tenner...!!! We will definitely be eating here again - Well Done Guys...!!!!

Though we had a lovely night out, it was very average. We didn't stay the night, just enjoyed the food, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Soup a little tasteless but chicken and sauce very tasty. Good and homely but pretty basic.

Called in on off chance, and found friendly staff and pleasant surroundings. Lovely warm bar with reasonable bar meals for a snack and a nice restaurant for main meals. We ate in the restaurant and found this very reasonably priced with good portions and and a good choice. Surprised at some of previous feedback as couldn't fault stay for accommodation, food and staff.
