“great take out fish & chips plus more options if you don't want battered cod!”

Grilled mackeral (2 mackerals) and chips for £6 which was really tasty and we went and sat on the pier. Others in my group had cod & chips, crab baguette, whitebait & chips - they chips were great, not too greasy!

“A vast selection of very different sea food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2013

Freshly caught fish and sea food served up with Maris piper chips cooked in pure vegetable oil .... Perfection! I had freshly cooked Mackerel bites with chips, my Husband had the cod (boneless and skinless) .... All freshly cooked to order so a bit of a wait. Another nice touch is it is all packed into boxes with grease proof paper which means the food does not get stuck to the traditional "white fish and chip paper" ....
Lovely sea views while you wait for your food too!!

“A boutique fish and chip shop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

The Lime Crab has much more than just the average chippy - you can also get deep-fried oysters and haloumi, and has some dead posh herb-growing pots which hang upside-down from the ceiling. The fish and chips are top-notch, served in a natty cardboard box complete with a wedge of lemon and a pot of tartar sauce. Salt and vinegar also available! We shared two servings between three adults and two young children, and had enough. And once you are served, you can then choose to go down to the beautiful beach or sit on the quay dolphin spotting.

“The best fish and chips”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013

What can I say, the fish is so lovely and the batter on the fish is so light. You get a good portion of chips too and the tartare sauce is nice too. Would definitely go back again.

“Scoff Scoff from the Lime Crab”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013

One of the best fish & chips I've had for a very long time... And nice to see alternatives offered too - such as grilled bream, mackerel and calamari
