“Really good fish n chips, but sometimes a bit hit and miss!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2013

Really good chippy open all yr round, a little over priced and sometimes can be a bit hit an miss, but way better than the chippy opposite the tourist information place.
The staff are always friendly, however im concerned to see another fish and chip shop is opening up in this small seaside town, i think 3 chippys is a tad excessive especially as each one is within yards of one another.
It would alsobe nice to see a bit of new quay mackeral on the menu!

“Great cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013

Great fish and chips - both eat in and takeaway. The perfect place for a fry up breakfast - any day of the year - including New Year's Day! Lovely staff and great choice of food. Busy in summer, haven for locals on windy winter days - delicious milky coffee too!

“Fantastic chips”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2012 via mobile

Best chips from a chippy in years. We enjoyed cod & chips, battered sausage & chips and cheesy chips from the Mariner take away and eatten overlooking the harbour. Crunchy yet not greasy chips. the rest equally great. Totally recommend.

“Takeaway fish and chips poor”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2012

We decided to have fish and chips here, but were very dissapointed. The portion size was small and the fish and chips were very greasy. Such a shame as we were really looking forward to fish and chips by the seaside!
