“Absolutely excellent!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2013

This trip was amazing. I was lucky enough to go on two boat trips (run by two different companies)while I was in New Quay and this trip was by far the best. We were taken out on a small boat with approximately 12 people. This made the expereince even better as we could hear the skipper (Luke) and above all the whole experience was more personal. Luke took us out into the bay and pulled up a number of lobster pots. He showed us crabs and even a small shark (I think!?!) from the lobster pot. We were able to touch the creatures and experience them first hand!
After we were taken out in to the open sea and saw whales leaping from the waves! It was truly amazing. The price of the trip was very reasonable (cheaper than the other company we went with) and we certainly got a lot more for our money.
If you are planning a trip to New Quay, look out for Seamor!!!

“Highlight of the holiday in my new favourite town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

Visited Wales in the Summer and was lucky enough to discover New Quay in the process. I remain completely in love with the town, and will certainly book another trip with Seamor if I ever make it back. There's loads of companies offering boat trips in the harbour, and it was only really luck that led us to Seamor in the first place, but I'm certain we couldn't have made a better choice. The boat is great - you can see and hear perfectly wherever you're sitting, and it's small enough that you can easily ask questions if you want to.

Luke and Jess were both great, passionate, knowledgeable, and full of little anecdotes that demonstrated their love for the job, and love for New Quay. During the trip we saw various seabirds, dolphins, seals, and a rare mother-calf porpoise pair, as well as lobsters and various crabs that were brought up in the lobster pots. The lobster pots are a great element of the trip, and unique to Seamor I think. Learned a lot about the species and we were all given the chance to hold/touch the animals. Luke was excellent at engaging with the children on the boat, and also my Down Syndrome brother, going the extra mile to give them an exciting and memorable trip. Kids were allowed to (gently!) return creatures to the sea and have a go at driving the boat.

The trip was designed around the wildlife, and Luke and Jess were responsive to the creatures around us rather than rigidly sticking to any set itinerary. While you'd probably have to be unlucky not to see any seals or dolphins, any trip would be worth your money thanks to the lobster pots and also the stunning coastal geology which is something to behold in itself. We were so impressed we booked a second trip, opting for the sunset tour second time round. The sunset was lost a little in what turned out to be quite a storm, but this didn't ruin the experience in the slightest - and there were plenty of Seamor coats on offer to go round :-)

All in all, brilliant. Book, and you won't be disappointed!

We went on this trip for our son's birthday, bit apprehensive at first, small and open air, weather was wet and grey but it was brilliant. We could hear Luke, see both sides of the boat, very informative and a chance to steer the boat! We would definitely recommend this trip, excellent value for money and friendly, prompt service.

“Passionate, enthusiastic skipper with lots of knowledge of the area.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013

When you walk down to the key side to wait for your boat SeaMor isn't the flashiest. The saying, "all good things come in small packages" comes to mind. It's small, so you can hear the skipper clearly without the use of a loud speaker, it's a quiet boat-no loud engines. It's comfortable. You feel at one with the sea! And the best bit?... because we were in our small, quite boat, we saw the most amazingsea life and DOLPHINS!
So when you go looking for a trip to take you dolphin watching, (and there are many to choose from) big and brassy isn't best. Go for SeaMor!
