“Fabulous lunch”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

A friend & I went to Abigail's to try out a new tearoom for us, & we were rewarded with a wonderful addition to our list.
The décor is beautiful, loved the colour scheme & birdcage chandeliers. The ploughman's lunch was delicious & looked almost too pretty to eat! We gobbled up every bite! Their selection of teas was awesome. Presentation & taste is everything at this wonderful restaurant. It is such a treat to have people that have such a passion for their work. Can't wait to go back.

“Delightful, afternoon visit”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

Lorene and Abigail were delightful hosts on our visit to the tea room! Everything was so tasty and beautifully presented. We had high tea but must go back to try the other meals! Lorene was a fountain of information and so excited and enthusiastic about this new career! Totally yummy! Don't tell anyone!

“Oozes with quaintness and hospitality”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

I celebrated a friend's birthday in a group of three. Right away we were effusively welcomed into a beautifully appointed room. The birdcage chandeliers and elegant peacock wallpaper are a delight to the eyes. All the décor choices were purchases made at other local small businesses. We ordered the Ploughman's plates and the Coronation with soup du jour. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. All of the food is homemade. The bread & butter pickles took me back to my childhood and the fluffy scones with fruit preserves tantalized my taste buds. The variety of tea is mesmerizing and we were allowed to experience the aroma of several first hand. I opted for their signature blend, Raspberry Cream Earl Grey, which was a full bodied tea with a hint of berry. If you enjoy good china, whimsical décor, small town folksy ambiance, and tasty food, this is the place to be.
