This is an excellent little hotel in a prime location in the resort of Alykes. We had breakfast on the riverbank every morningwatching swallows swooping along the river for flies while in the distance tourists waited at the end of the jetty for a trip boat to arrive. George is a very attentive and patient host who speaks excellent English. All of the staff are friendly and courteous, the room was kept clean and well stocked with clean towels and the floor was mopped every other day! The buffet breakfast was plentiful consisting of boiled eggs, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, marmalade, honey, a variety of breads, and tea, coffee and fruit juice. The hotel is a short walk from the beach and the Main Street where all of the shops bars and restaurants are. The room was very comfortable and well sound proofed. The shower was powerful enough although the space was a little small. This is a really good hotel for couples and families due to it's location and the friendly family atmosphere. We liked it so much we are coming back in July!
