More of a restaurant less a taverna so it provides a great change in Armenistis . The food is more adventurous than usual in Greek island resorts and the service is good. The prices are reasonable for the good quality, freshly cooked food and we visited several times in a 2 week stay. Good location definitely worth a try if you are in the area or staying in Armenistis .

We read that Mary Mary was the best retaurant in Ikaria and Im not too sure. The food was ok (we have pasta, greek salad, filled peppers and tomatoes) but no fantatstic. The service was good, the staff lovely and avarge prices. It a nice view from the balcony but its nothing special about this place.

We were in lovely Armentitis for eight nights and we ate at Mary Mary three nights On the other nights we ate at the more rustic local taverna's but we enjoyed Mary Mary because the food was a bit more sophisticated It was also tasty and good value
The prices were reasonable and the red house wine was good. Drinkable house wine was hard to find in Ikaria! I think the local wine is an acquired taste
The owner was pleasant efficient generous and spoke English and the waitress was very friendly and she also spoke English

Traditional Greek food, with fish, vegetables and wine from the island! Nice location next to a river with a wonderful view to the village. The waitress is very helpfull, not only with foods but also with basic informations about the island!

We have just returned from the most memorable visit to the unspoilt island of Ikaria, we stayed in a small village called Armenistis and discovered one of the best eating places ever. Nicos the chef and owner was trained by his higly renowned father and can produce food like I've never had before. He is the loveliest guy and extremely generous and kind - every evening he gave us a 'treat' on the house. A definite must if you arre a real foodie.
