We stopped by here on our way back from Dharamkot. The interiors were decent but the real thrill came when our lunch arrived. While the food was decent, the soothing music that played in the background made us enjoy our meal much more. We had Israeli food here and while i won't call it a gold standard, it was still decent but what you get with this place is a good ambience. Food and the Music in the background. Good place to sit down if you want to have a relaxing meal.

Very nice ambiance with delicious food. You can either sit there among frnds as they have arrangements on floor. Or, there proper dining facility too. The waiters are friendly but due to the rush your order might take some time. But over all experience is really great if you have a nice company."Hello to the queen" is a must !

A eatery that reminds me of shacks in Goa. Though the food was nice and is a nice place to unwind. Only problem is when you eat to much and the walk back gets really steep :-) Overall a fine place to have a nice brunch with friends!

First thing. This restaurant is in Dharmkot and not Mcleodganj.
I was trekking aimlessly one day towards Triund and came across trek and dine at dharamkot.
It has a very nice ambience. Service is slow, but waiters are caring and prompt when addressed. Order takes some time to come but is freshly made and hot. I started with a bowl of fresh fruit and watermelon juice. I really liked it.

The pizzas here are made in wood fired ovens and hence the flavour is unlike any other you may have tasted before. I ordered the broccoli chicken pizza but since broccoli season is over I had to do with chicken barbeque pizza. Now this one came with 12" thin crust and was delicious. I relished every slice of it. This was not a typical takeaway pizza that we are used to eating. This was the real deal. I gulped it down with another glass of fresh watermelon juice.

To top it all they provide free wifi access to customers when they are there. That really clinched the deal. I spent Rs 320 for the entire meal and am a well fed and contended person ready to trek further.

Away from the bustle of Mcleodganj, at Dharamkot, a place more frequented by Israelis and Russians, Trek and DIne serves a wide variety of cuisines, and you will typically find something you would want to have. They are well-known for their wood-fired pizzas.

I ordered some Iranian fare, which was like a giant-sized patties, freshly baked, filled with mushrooms, olives and mozarella cheese, served with a benign fresh tomato puree sauce and a very spicy red chilly sauce. The serving time was a tad long, but at a place like that, you wouldnt mind it. The chocolate cookie, freshly baked and well made, did well for a light dessert.
The ginger lemon honey was good. Nothing exceptional.

The ambience is really relaxed, with groups of travelers hanging around and spending a good amount of time, eating, drinking and catching up.

Overall, if in Dharamkot, a must visit.
