The bhagsu temple... Is having a pretty old and a historial value and is worth a visit.....the locals look forward to it very much..... The only thing is that people often wash clothes...that should be stopped....

The temple is situated at the beginning of the route that takes one to the Bhagsunag Waterfall & further to Shiva Cafe. The temple is not famous per se though it is supposed to be a really old one. It will be good to promote the legend at least at the local level, so that tourists are aware. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Cars do not go up till the temple; so there is a little amount of walking to be done. But it is easy walking. The temple is clean which is an anomaly for most temples in India. There is also a water tank where one can take a dip. The usual legend is associated with the tank- all diseases will be warded off if you take a dip. On the way to the temple are a lot of small shops, where local merchandise can be bought. But do ensure to bargain!

nice surroundings, but the temple per se worth a visit if you will also see the nearby falls.
The shops outside are not so typical and yet oriented to satisfy tourists, and not locals. dont trust much people at night.

Very old temple and well maintained with impressive cleanliness and crystal clear water tank for a dip. Further ahead is Bhagsunag waterfall which has emerald green water pool gathered by a magnificent waterfall. Its a nice little trek to the waterfall.Must see when in Mcleodganj / Dharamsala.

Was not quite there to my expectation.. Temple needs to be more clean and peaceful.. But thanks to our countrymen, they never fail to throw wastes even within a temple premises...
