Lhamo's is run by a family, which is evident when you can see their kids running around. Everyone is very friendly, and there are not many people there, making for a nice quiet atmosphere. The croissants, while very good, definitely do not taste like other croissants I've had - they are much denser and not light and fluffy. Still, they warm them up for you, and it's definitely worth getting a few of the chocolate ones! As far as food goes, the salad was served in a very generous-size bowl. The copious amounts of orange carrot and balsamic dressing made me feel like I was in a cafe in the States, and the lettuce was crunchy and fresh. This is definitely the best place in town to go for a salad if you are craving crunchy vegetables and delicious dressing. The spinach quiche was also quite good, albeit a bit on the small side. We wish we would have discovered Lhamo's earlier in our stay!
