Ok we walked 2km to Bhagus from south end of McLeod Ganj. It was not pleasant - a constant queue of beeping cars and narrow dusty, congested lanes. Bhagus itself was full of haphazardly 'parked' cars. Lower Bhagus (shops/restos) was primarily visited by Indians with the upper (bars/restos) primarily western/Israelis. There was an uninspiring temple in concrete and a 'baths' full of Indian men and a few children. It was heavily congested everywhere. We could see the waterfall in the distance but returned, as it too was too busy. I cannot see the delight in the over development of Baghus when there is such beauty in the hills around.. NOT recommended.
