Don't stay at this hotel, it is filthy and uncomfortable. The rooms are very rundown, with extremely hard beds and pillows like bricks. The beds are filthy, stained sheets greeted me and even when I insisted on them being changed they were grey with dirt. The actual mattress and pillows were disgusting. Bathrooms were run down and again dirty, the rooms were not cleaned unless you asked and it was probably not worth it as it made little difference. Our group had breakfast and to say it was a farce is being kind. Again filth prevailed seating and tableclothes had never been changed possibly in living memory. Toast was served with a cloth round it and again this was disgusting, I insisted they stopped using one for my toast. Breakfast is served even if you are not there and left to get even colder. The banister, marble, was missing leading down to the basement and the beginning of the upstairs making it very dangerous. If someone spent some money on upgrading the hotel and attending to the filth it could be a really nice hotel as the rooms are a good size with a balcony that has an excellent view but at the moment I reccomend it is avoided at all costs
The hotel itself is clean and basic and so was our room. The bathroom was very wide and newly renovated. Our windows had a very lovely view over the valley and Baghsunag road. A pity that the hotel itself wasn't very charming, nor it had any kind of warm atmosphere. So was the staff, polite but cold.
