I have to say I am surprised to hear such good reviews for Sarita's. I was there last week for 2 nights in the 'honeymoon suite' and was not impressed. The facilities were there: air con, fridge, TV etc but everything was very dirty and the room is in desperate of a makeover. The bath/shower was the kind where you feel you need to wash your feet on the way out - not good! The fridge was also in a disgusting state and smelled awful - clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long while. I don't expect a great deal for Rs2000 a night (incl. luxury tax) but I at least expected the guesthouse to remotely reflect the pictures and description on their website.
Was also very disappointed with the service - our room was not ready when we arrived even though we were after check in time and on departure we had asked (and double checked) that a taxi had been booked for early in the morning to take us to the airport - this never arrived and it was not easy to find one at 4am with mad dogs barking at you when trying to walk to find one.
I'd skip Bogmalo if you can but if unavoidable definitely skip Saritas!
