“Excellent hotel and restaurant”
Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

A warm welcome from the proprietors was a pleasant start to a delightful short stay. The hotel makes a perfect base for visiting the local vineyards, and the restaurant gave us a wonderful meal in the evening. The duck and steak were perfectly cooked and the range of desserts and cheeses pleased everyone in our group. Well-priced for the quality of the food, and our concerns about possible noise from the road proved unfounded.

“Quirky eatery”
Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

Nice and friendly place with the eccentric owner sharing a joke or three with you. Popular (reservation advised) and service mainly very good. Good quality food freshly cooked from very good seasonal ingredients.

“a place to remember”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

A very good place amongst others in the area, good for a stop on the road while leading up the way ,we stayed in the hotel while ending in Malaucene, the rooms are decorated with very good taste for the price category,it really seems the owners made an effort.

As for the restaurant even basic for the area ,good quality and certainly hand made from starters to main course and deserts even though a bit more choice would be welcome.

Laurence surely knows about wines..(we went home with a few jewels..)

The owner Laurence is a real treat and enjoys your company,(it's good for a change!!) sure stop by next time around .

A good experience..hope it keeps this way....

“Copious lunch”
Reviewed June 18, 2013 via mobile

As usual we had lunch at La Farigoule when we are on vacation in the Vaucluse. Rather than taking the menue of the day we ordered the four course lunch. Each one was delicious. Perhaps they could make the portions of entree and main course a bit smaller for travellers of our age. But the taste was great, the service friendly and efficient and the owner knows about food and speaks good english!
We certainly will return here. Try to arrive in good time, the traffic picks up after 13.45 and can be a bit noisy.
Afterwards one can visit the great many caves in this excellent wine region.

“An excellent place for lunch while touring the southern Rhone vineyards”
Reviewed August 18, 2011

La Farigoule lovely little restaurant with pleasant outdoor seating and good value and well presented and prepared food. At lunchtime the restaurant was packed with locals - always a good sign - but service was still very friendly and efficient.
