“Gourmet food!”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Chano's Point might not look fancy on the outside but it's considered the gourmet food in town. A little pricer than the other places in town but WELL worth it. Chano cooks up some great fish! He also has the best passion fruit salad dressing ever! If he has flan don't miss trying that! Best flan I've ever tasted!

“Best Meal in Catalina”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

We loved the fish filet Hawaiin style with the clams. Comes with fresh salad served with a chilled passion fruit dressing and potatos.

“What a low key delight! Go!”
Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

Tiny place, few tables. Mini kitchen. Staff: 2. Food. Superb. Had huge portion of clams (one of best I ever had) as starter. Followed by langosta, prepared with maracuya. Give small place, bring some time... Very friendly staff. Very fair prices. Nice outdoor setting, with relaxed tunes in background.

“Open dining among the palms”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

Small but well run restaurant - owner was there immediately taking our order for drinks and told us about the fish dinner and sauces. We enjoyed a great snapper with ginger/coconut sauce on it surrounded by a salad and boiled potatoes. Very ample, very delicious, good service, simple but great ambiance. Would definitely visit again. People say "high endI" .... fish dinners were about $12 each....

“high end food in a low key setting”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

My husband and I ate here on our last night in Santa Catalina. To be fair, everything we ate in Santa Catalina was delicious, but this place was a foodie heaven. We enjoyed juicy chicken breasts served with roasted potatoes and fresh fruit salsa, and a very generous bowl of mussels on the side. The chef made everything to order, and when the plates arrived, they were bursting with colour and flavour. I wasn't expecting to find cuisine of this quality in a sleepy seaside town. It reminded me of the food we had enjoyed in Panama City at the Trump Ocean Club. I highly recommend this place.
