Been here couple of time...is simple, the place have a great location with a terrace facing to El Estero Beach...food is good, service moderate, bedroom basic but ok...you can go down stairs and you will touch the sand and swim...if you want to chill while you are conectec to the cyber space, sit in the restaurant terrace and ask for a drink and enjoy the peace...my favorite place to go and back then and again...keep going guys.

This is a review uniquely for the restaurant part of Mama Ines. We went there with my wife once during our stay in Santa Catalina, and we regret it. The service was awful. Truly bad. When we entered the restaurant part, the waiter saw us and just left. We waited 5 minutes for him to come back before deciding to grab a menu for ourselves. Fifteen minutes later, he showed up to take our orders. It took them 1 more hour to bring my food... Yes, 'my' food, as my wife had to wait for 30 more minutes!!! All of that without apologies. And the restaurant wasn't even full! The food itself was decent, but definitely not worth the poor service, nor the wait (or price!). Maybe they are offering a better service to people that are actually staying with them though...

Nothing better to have a nice evening at their restaurant terrace watching the sunset, whilst food is being served. Place was good to enjoy it for a couple of days. Food at their restaurant is lovely. Yet we've only met one of the guys running the place and seemed the only one working at that time while the others were not doing much. Not a biggie, but for some people may be a big deal.
Rooms were decent. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in Surf point two times, The first was in November 12, then we came back for New Year.
They all welcomed us back like your own family!
We enjoyed this place so much. The food is excellent and not too expensive. Yann, Juia, Noriel, Kili, Chino, and Andy and the hole crew where so friendly and helpful and funny!
The beach is just "downstairs" (means you walk down some stairs and touch the sand).
the bach is good for swimming and surfing!
maybe on weekends, when its crouwded poeple have party at the beach, so it might be a bit loud...
but att all we had a great stay in this place!
Thank you for this unforgettable 2 weeks!
Pattie and Lukas

We stayed for almost two weeks at Surf Point Hotel and enjoyed a fantastic time. The rooms are simple but clean. The food is great and for a good value. But the best was the whole family who gives this spot a perfect family atmosphere. From the hostel you overlook playa estero, a nice beachbreak. El Punto, the pointbreak is within walking distance. To walk to the "village" it takes you about 15min. Thanks for everything, we enjoyed it!
