My brother and I stayed 2 nights in the middle of Galway race week. The staff were friendly and courteous, the bar food was excellent and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The owner was quite magnificent, as whilst we were waiting for a taxi to arrive, he offered to take us into Galway himself in his own car, an offer we were delighted to accept. These lovely people could not do too much for us, and we would strongly recommend them and their hotel to anyone staying in Galway

This is a fabulous hotel, although it is small and peitite it its really nice! the food was gorgeous although we ordered lasagne and there was none left, this was i suppose a good sign! as when the food came out it was gorgeous!! We had turkey and ham and it was really tasty and moth watering! the rooms were really nice! with a double bed and a across two single beds. the way they were layed out was really nice there was a few stpes down in the room to get to the single beds. The hotel is located beside a mini shopping complex which is handy for doing a small bit of shopping. Back to the rooms the road infront of the hotel is very busy all night. The windows are double glazed but if the window is open ever so slightly all the noise will get in so make sure the window is shut fully as the road is extremely busy. that was not the hotels fault though it was ours for not closing it properly. Overall, an excellent stay and would definetley go there again!

Stayed here overnight as we were here for a birthday party. Super personalized service, clean spacious room as we had a family room on the second floor. Friendly service and breakfast included, There is also a restaurant and a pub in the hotel which has fine food and the pub as a local feel.

Just a note that the hotel is in Claregalway which is 20 minute drive (when no traffic) from Galway City.

Should I have the need, I would stay here again easily. Thanks a million !

We've just returned from 2 nights stay in this hotel.
On the plus side the hotel was cheap, very clean and the food was good and not so expensive.
The bed is really comfortable. The staff in the restaurant were really friendly and nice.
On the negative side we didn't sleep a wink because you could hear the TV next door. The walls are paper thin. This was really annoying.
I would say that if you're somebody who isn't bothered by the noise then this is a great budget hotel. This was the only negative thing about it.

Stayed with my partner overnight as we had a wedding to go to. Staff friendly and the rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast the next morning was lovely. It's an excellent budget hotel sitting in a lovely complex of shops etc just outside galway city (10 minutes drive) and worth a visit for a quiet relaxing break

I stayed here a few weeks ago and was very impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was very clean including the rooms, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bar is nicely decorated with friendly relaxing atmosphere and although i did not eat in the restaurant, i heard from others that the food was very good. The village itself has a few restaurant/bars and as a cheaper alternative to staying in Galway city centre, it comes highly recommended. Especially as it is practically impossible to get an affordable hotel room in the city at weekends. It costs between 12 and 14 euro for a taxi into the city centre which is just a 10 minute drive and the hotel itself is half the price of most in the city.
