Four of us visited Wiltshire and surrounding area this past weekend and chose to stay at the Pembroke Arms Hotel in Wilton. What a great choice. Arriving mid afternoon two great rooms were waiting for us. This is a bespoke hotel with a choice of many rooms each with its own specific name and room number. The rooms are very contemporary with larger than normal space, well furnished and with large beds - in our case King sized. Although the hotel started many years ago it has recently been modernised and certainly a better match than most of the modern chained 4 star hotels. Our original plan was to eat in the hotel on the first night and then sample the culinary delights on Salisbury on the Saturday evening. - Please note that due to the popularity of the hotel / restaurant you are advised to book a table on arrival - which we were pleased we did as the Restaurant had all tables in use just after we started our meal. The meal was excellent with plenty of choice and a good selection of wines all of which was reasonably priced. On the Saturday we toured around Salisbury and surrounding area whilst also looking for a good value restaurant. The end result being the we decided to go back to the restaurant at the Pembroke Arms. We made a call back to the hotel and reserved a table for the Saturday evening. We were not disappointed as again the meal and wine were excellent. This is a family run hotel with extremely friendly and attentive staff and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Salisbury area for a weekend or longer break.

Room Tip: You won't be disappointed with either room 2 or 8. But any room will fit the bill!

Thank you very much for taking time to write your review, and recommending us so highly.

We are lucky that the hotel is in such a great location, right opposite Wilton House and so close to Salisbury an ideal base for exploring by car or going out into the beautiful countryside on foot as you did.
Our dinner, bed and breakfast offer is proving very popular, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay so much.

We found the Pembroke Arms Hotel to be top quality. Free parking, free Wi-Fi. Wonderful service, cannot do enough for you. Lovely room, we booked standard and I would have rated it 4 star! I believe it to be the most value for money stay we have ever had and we travel a lot. Enjoyed a half board stay and the food was terrific.

Room Tip: We chose a standard room, which had everything you could want.

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We all work hard to try and ensure that our guests have a lovely time when they stay with us, and aim to keep our room rates and food process competitive. We don’t want a stay with us to break the bank!
We look forward to seeing you again.

We stayed at the Pembroke Arms for three nights and we had the most wonderful time. The hotel is warm and welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. Our room was spotless and the attention to detail was 1st class. Having dinner each evening was a real treat and there is a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is beautifully crisp and clean. Thank you to all of the staff at the Pembroke for making our Mum's Birthday special.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Florence room which is a twin.

Ah, thank you so much for this review. We remember you and your family well, and are really pleased that you all had such a good time.
The menu is most certainly wide ranging, as we aim to cater for most tastes, and we are told that the vegetarian & vegan choices are pretty special.
The staff work tremendously hard, with a real attention to detail when they clean, and are delighted when customers comment on their work. Thank you.
Hopefully we will see you all again soon!

We stayed at the Pembroke Arms for one night, whilst visiting Wiltshire's best ancient sites - Stonehenge and the Wiltshire Museum in Devizes. We loved it - elegant, comfortable and lovely food. The service was professional and extremely friendly. I had one of the best night's sleep ever, away from my own bed!

Thank you or your kind review.
As you mention we are close to so many South Wilts attractions, so we are glad you were able to easily visit the places you chose.
We are fortunate that our guests all seem to get a good night’s sleep in our rooms, and we are pleased that you were no exception, and the staff aim to make everyone feel relaxed and at home.

You know where we are, should you be passing this way again.
