Spent a very relaxing 2 nights in a seaview unit with my 2 teenagers. No problem to set up a very comfortable roll-a-way bed for my 14 year old while my daughter and I had twin beds. Lovely and spacious - great kitchen. Parked the car and walked everywhere. My son enjoyed the mountain bike tracks while we enjoyed the walk from the end of the cul-de-sac up the hill to the trig and back along the beach. Complimentary spa for guests and a lovely BBQ area. Would definitely return as a family or just for a relaxing wknd with my partner.

Room Tip: Seaview units had morning sun on the balcony but lost it early in the afternoon. Very quiet and priv...

We had three nights here and it was excellent value at their winter rates. The studio unit was extremely spacious for a studio and had a great view to the beach. There was even a washing machine. The proprietors are helpful and friendly. I would recommend this motel to anyone visiting the area.

Stayed here while visiting Abel Tasman National Park and surrounding area.
The motel is situated in a nice position, with good views over the water and a couple of minutes walk from the beach.
The motel hires mountain bikes and canoes.
The rooms are basic but have all you need for a self catered holiday.
There are also good restaurants in Kaiteriteri and 2 stunning restaurants in Maharau.

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and wellpositioned to get a lovely view of the sea. The owners were friendly and approachable It was just a 10 min walk to the shops and bars of Kaiteriteri over a lovely little path which gave great views of both bays. The only comment would be we tried to use the washing machine and could only get a cold wash. I understand this is sometimes th eway of things in NZ but we couldnt figure out why the machine wasnt cleaning our clothes so well!

We had just the 1 night here and it suited our needs for visiting family staying in the campground. The motel is conveniently located. Our room was comfortable. It is a easy walk over to the main beach and store.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights. We agree with other posters about the wonderful location, and clean and spacious accomodations. We cooked all three nights that we stayed there and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were in a 2 bedroom, and it was fantastic. The owner was very helpful and we were glad that he suggested and arranged for us a guided kayaking trip. We feel lucky that we were able to get a reservation here, especially since we did not have a car and it was a very convenient location.

Stayed three nights in unit towards rear of property which was large, spacious and well appointed. Good value given expensive area. Easy to walk to local beach and over headland to bustling Kaiteriteri. Very impressed by owner who went out of his way to help organise day hikes in Abel Tasman, and suggest where to go more further afield. His advice greatly enhanced our stay.
