We stayed in Kaiteriteri to walk part of the Abel Tasman track. Diane and Martin welcomed us into the family and organised our walk, not to mention several other parts of our holiday.
The whole experience was fantastic.

This B&B, in Little Kaiteriteri, really is a great place to base yourself for trips into Abel Tasman. You have the choice of relaxing at the very near beach, or of seeking out more active pursuits like hiking in Abel Tasman or horseback riding in Marahau. The hosts will even book your water taxis if you like. The King room is great - perhaps the most comfortable bed we encountered in our 18 days in NZ - with a great view and a mini fridge which is handy for storing lunch for the next day's hike. Also, there are two very good (yet casual) restaurants as easy 15 min or so walk away.

We stayed here for 2 nights of our honeymoon. This is a great place and we would stay there again if we ever go back! What was great:
- awesome view of the sea
- lovely couple who helped us plan our day and made awesome breakfasts for us
- very homely place; beautiful kitchen garden.. makes you feel close to nature
- 4 min walk to the sea and 10 min walk to an amazing restaurant (Beached Whale)

We really enjoyed our stay at the Everton B & B. Martin & Diane were very welcoming and friendly. Martin took us out in his boat and we had a brilliant time...it was like a private charter, lunch was delicious in amazing surroundings. We met their friends and really got to know some Kiwis, only possible in B & Bs. The room was lovely with a wonderful view from the balcony. If you are in the Abel Tasman area I can recommend this as a good place to stop.

Only B&B we have stayed in in New Zealand which was as described - others should all be charged with false advertising.
We found those run by English migrant hosts the most dishonest.

Just up from a great beach, quiet, clean and very comfortable.
Martin a great host and his boat trip up the coast - if running - is a must.

Breakfast and boat trip lunch could not be faulted.
King room worth the extra money and has great view.

Martin directed us to a local pub where there were real Kiwis and the best value meal we had on the trip.

If only all B&Bs were like this!

PS: Please ignore the above - they might push up the price!
