Were here the other day. Beautiful setting. Great food. Service was good. And we got a free bottle of wine! Highly recommended!

“Our second visit - great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2013

This is the second year we have visited La Tana with friends whilst on holiday. Staff very friendly and helpful, great view from our table of the harbour. We had the fried baby squids and peppers as one of our starters and both were excellent, the bread and garlic dip that they also serve is to die for and you could eat it endlessly. All the food that our party hate was excellent, La Tana isn't cheap but the food, service and location are worth it. Would definitely visit again.

“Lovely position next to the port”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

We've eaten at this restaurant numerous times over the past few years & will be back again. It is a bit on the expensive side, but I'm sure that's because of where it is, right on the side of the entrance to the port.
We go more often at lunchtime having a relaxing lunch of "chopitos" (friend baby squid), bread, alioli & a glass of wine. We have been a few times in the evening too & it's always a busy restaurant in a busy area, which adds to its charm.

“It is over priced!!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013

Well, the site is nice, near the port. We can not say the food is bad. But be carrefull When the owner is proposing you the fish or gambas, i mean all dishes where it is difficult to know exactly the price, because at the end You will have a bad surprise when the bill is coming, e.g 6 gambas invoiced 37 euros.
Another example we did not like, my wife complained to the owner that her draft beer was flat and not cold enough. He agreed and bring a bottled one which was Ok. But all this was at our cost!!! Very strange way.
So we decided it is the last time we put our feet there, because it is too obvious the objective of this place.

“Not as good as it was - we don't like raw fish!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

We have eaten here regularly over the last ten years or so. It has always been reliable but not spectacular fare. We ate there on 22 July on a Sunday evening and it was very poor. The grilled sardines were not cooked through and inedible for the most part and it was overall a poor dining experience. I think the other fish restaurant on the corner by the marina is now better.
