We stayed herw with our company on a three-day meeting. The environment is beautifull, the rooms are clean and well-kept. The meeting rooms are great and weel ecquipped, service is somewhat lacking though. Breakfast and lunch were OK, dinner somewhat disappointing. In all not a bad experience at all.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 night in a junior suite. A big room, but only one window and rather small bathroom.
We had good weather and had our appetizer outside in the sun. Wonderful view into the garden and fountains. Food had a very good quality and during the week we received very good advise for the wine. Prices are regular.
Downstairs you have a big swimming pool with sauna/hammam-complex. The sports bar was empty, so no atmosphere. We went for a spa treatment, but it was already closed; no customers -> closing early; Next day we booked for a total body massage, which was good. People at the reception were sometimes unfriendly or forgot to give us all the information. We went back a couple of times for additional info (Spa, maps of the region...) Breakfast has a big buffet and hugh variety of spreads. The environment was beautiful, quiet and with the bikes you have the possible to make your own route. The numbered crossing points which gives you the opportunity to do a short or long trip. Forest, beach sand, fens. Shortly wonderful.

Room Tip: Junior suites are the room in the corners of the hotel. The room is bigger, but only one window avai...

The entire place breaths, we do not want guests, just your money! The vaste areas and long hallways make you feel like in a hospital. The rooms are definitely not meant to make you feel good...running out of the room, you might want to take a swim, but the chloride is like pepper spray and make you want to puke right away....Then we tried the sportsbar...A simple snooker play costs an arm and a leg and the personnel can't stop yawning...and radiate being bored...

Food is terrible tasteless if not all defrosted...hospital food is better.

..no please...staying in this place is sadomasochism

Room Tip: Stay in your car at the parking lot!

This is a classic ... outside/inside story ....

When you arrive all is like ... well fine ... but it all goes down fast .... lobby still ol but you already have the feeling of a like "Rehab-hospital" style .... but when you enter the room you really want to turn around and make a run .... - for a long time i have not been in a room as uninspired as this ... blandness galore ... so not nice at all ... so depressing ...

The wellness / spa area is stinking of chlorine .... the sun lounges keep "collapsing" .. and are stupidly positioned in front of a fountain which is constantly spilling water on you if its windy .. (well wind in Holland ... like always ... hello ??)

The team in hotel seems to just add to the fun .. and every request you have is treated like with the "whatever" attitude .. leaning into rude ....

breakfast was an industrial grub ... all cheap ...

Ahh ... what a waste .... and then for 2 rooms, 2 bottles of wine, 3 burgers we paid 470 Euros .... willl give this one a wide berth .....

Very good restaurant, nice and quiet area. Great staff and hotel with a good vibe.
But rooms need to be updated. I had a room on the ground floor and it was a bit oldfashioned.
Comfortable bed though.

I loved the location (though not very easily accessible, it was nevertheless a beautiful locale) and the ambience at the hotel. The rooms were small and the furniture pretty old, but the general feel of the hotel kind of made up for it. The double beds were actually two single beds put together, which made me feel like I was going to fall into a cliff all throughout my nights there. The food was tasty and rich and the breakfast (though the menu stayed the same for breakfast) really delicious. The staff were not quite up to the mark as my shower was not repaired even after making three requests to the effect. I got three different bills with three different figures for the very same things as well. In spite of all these, I would like to revisit the hotel for the sheer 'gezellig' feel that it brought to me.
