The service offered by Zamek Korzkiew and its wonderfull staff is second to none. We chose to hold our wedding at Zamek Korzkiew in August 2011 and booked the castle and all rooms for our guests. The service offered by Pani Theresa and Piotr not only on the wedding day but in the preparation made our day the most memorable and special experience. The hotel is the perfect venue for a quiet break or a fantastic party. Each room in the hotel is uniquely furnished with Oak Beams and antique furniture, the food is excellent (both the hotel breakfast and the wedding catering from the hotels select list of caterers). The venue is especially unique, but the staff made the experience wholey unforgetable.

This great little castle is a great place to stay at the end of touring the Eagles’ Nest Trail north of Krakow.

The Castle is located in a forest setting in the little village of Korzkiew. The hotel is in the process of being fully renovated. This has been done in an authentic manner giving a great impression on approach and within the castle.

There are 4 rooms of varying but generous sizes. The largest suite is very impressive. The castle is ideal for a small group to hire for a night.
The décor appears authentic with great wooden furniture, pictures and decoration. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are free of TVs and fridges adding authenticity. The bathrooms are modern with deep baths and good showers.
The hotel does not have a restaurant but does have a drinks list to enjoy on the lawn chairs in the little garden. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. Breakfast is fresh and traditional and the staff make a good espresso.
There is a great local restaurant called Pod Bazantem that is worth a visit.

Room Tip: Tour the Eagles Nest then book into the top Suite

My friend and I recently stayed at Zamek Korzkiew and loved every minute of it! We were treated like royalty the friendly English-speaking staff. The initial reservation process was a bit cumbersome to me but in the end it was worth it. Breakfast was ample and tasty though as an American I wasn't really sure what half the food was. The hotel is situated about a 10-15 minute taxi ride outside of Krakow way back in the woods. The hotel is situated on the edge of a nature park so you can walk around and explore. We had a pleasant sleep in our cozy room (the tiniest of the four) but were awakened by some children outside.

What a magical place to stay! We went with another couple of friends and ended up been the only guests there for 3 nights! The service was excellent, the rooms where beautiful, each with their own log burner! Breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We will never forget our stay her and would certainly go again! We absolutely loved it. The only thing i would highly recommend is that you hire a car as it is 13km from Kracows main square and taxis can be expensive.

The location in a wooded park is very restful and the rooms beautiful. Arrived by 100 zloty taxi ride from cetral Krakow. They serve a beautiful breakfast of cold meat, cheese, fruit, pastry, eggs, etc. Lovely romanitic stay. But no restraurant. It was a 30 minute walk along a busy road to a simple restraurant and there were a couple more a bit further.

I have stayed in several castle hotels and this was by far my best stay. The rooms are beautifully furnished, we stayed in the Brochwicz which had a real fireplace, a second level with another bed and beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The staff's level of attention and helpful attitude is second to none.

You may want to ask for the catering menu up-front if you want to eat at the hotel; food needs to be pre-ordered as there's no restaurant on-site. There's a friendly, but basic restaurant 20 minutes walk from the hotel.

We pre-ordered our dinner and it was delicious and beautifully prepared.

This is a really special place, worth making a detour for.

Hands down, this is one of the greatest hotels I have ever stayed in. It is not the most luxurious, or the best-located hotel, but certainly the most memorable.

The castle (or zamek) is located ~15 miles north of central Cracow and ~20 miles from the airport. It's an easy drive into the city and well worth the added expense for a rental car. I enjoyed staying outside the city and waking up to the view of the immense forest that surrounds the property. The castle is beautiful and each room is different and wonderful. Check out the gorgeous iron work and carved wood finishes throughout the hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is absurd - my husband and I were served enough food for 6 each morning- all of it was delicious.

The hotel is very quiet - there is not much to do once the sun sets. It is the perfect place if you enjoy curling up in front of a fire. The setting reminded me of a place described in a fairy tale.
