This restaurant is a classic for us. Meals are carefully prepared using as local as can be products along with exotic spices from Asia. Wine selection is good and service friendly. If you are in for something different, give it a try.

While cycling along from Montmagny towards Riviere-du-Loup we were completely charmed by the outside looks of the cafe, and just had to stop in for a quick lunch stop. We were not disappointed by the menu choices, even though we had just missed "lunch". A very tasty pizza des legumes, two beers and two capuccinos sent us on our way well refreshed. We were so impressed that we had to stop by again a few days later on our return trip. This time we made "lunch". House-made ravioli stuffed with pork, and a croque-monsieur (prepared with a difference), with a carafe of wine made for a special lunch treat. When we complemented the kind lady, who had valiantly put up with my somewhat rusty French, on our choices, we were then given the background of the local foods that go into the preparations. Cheese from a local fromagerie, ham from a local producer, bread from the Kamouraska bakery, and on it goes.
Very friendly service, good food, charming inside and out....And there is more.....

Nicely located in an old house, not far from the Saint-Laurence River, the restaurant has average size well decorated rooms which creates a cosy comfortable atmosphere in which you can enjoy a tasty inventive cuisine. We liked very much our avocado hommos and the smoked salmon pizza, enhanced by a French white wine that is moderatly priced. Nice place, excellent food, kind service and reasonable price.

Super location right in the heart of the village. Excellent coffee and very nice local cuisine. Portions are smallish, for the price but they use local produce and cheese.

Thank dondedieu
