Our three night stay was one of the highlights of our Italian vacation. Anna and Maurizio were gracious and welcoming. We were made to feel like invited friends rather than guests to the B&B. Anna provided outstanding food and day trip information. Maurizio explained the process of farming and making 15 year old balsamic. The room was very comfortable, spotless, and perhaps the best value of the trip.

We stayed only one night on a recent trip to Modena and Maranello. Very easy to get to from both towns. Nice country dive. We were greeted by Anna, who immediately made us feel at home with some traditional cakes, coffee and other refreshments. Anna offered to make us dinner at the Agriturismo due to the fact that most local restaurants don't open till 8:00 pm. With the fact that we had 3 children in our group, this proved to be not only a perfect logistical solution, but Anna's food was amazing. She made several fresh pastas, including the best pumpkin ravioli I have ever tasted. We had wine and a total of four courses of pastas, meats, cheeses and of course desserts. Sitting around the fire burning stove was super relaxing and was the perfect solution to a busy day of touring. Whether a family, or a couple, you can't go wrong staying with Anna and Maurizio. They are wonderful hosts and really make you feel at home in their country B&B. Thank you so much!

Room Tip: If you have children, the room with the "hay/kid loft" is really cool and your kids will l...

We stayed for 3 days in Sept/2012. We were in Italy to celebrate out 25 wedding anniversary and Anna was wonderful and surprised us and had stay in the self contained apartment. It was wonderful.
Anna's breakfasts were wonderful- she is a great baker and was nice enough to share her cake recipes with me. Maurizio showed us how he makes balsamic vinegar. We brought back lots of vinegar as well as Anna's homemade jams. All very tasty!
We knew our vacation was off to a great start when we arrived at 3pm and Anna said we wouldn't find any place open for a late lunch so she brought us one of most memorable lunches we had in Italy- local proscuitto, parmesan and other local cheeses, melons and red wine. We ate this wonderful lunch overlooking the farm. Couldn't ask for better!
Anna gave us lots of information on local restuarants, directions on getting to Bologna, and scenic trips. Invaluable!
We would highly recommend Anna and Maurizio's farm!

My stay with Anna and Maurizio will stay with me for many reasons. Firstly the property is lovely and is great value for the asking price. Staying at a farm like this is gives you an insight into a part of the community that you miss in traditional B&B,s or small hotels. As Anna will tell you it is a fully functioning Biodynamic farm. Their approach to farming and skillful execution gives hope for the future. I felt so welcome and free in both exploring the farm and quizzing Anna on topics from the Italian psyche to the details of the production of their delightful products. I can't imagine not returning when I am next in Italy.

My wife, teenage daughter, and I stayed here for 3 nights. Anna did a great job of making us feel welcome and helped us with maps, directions, and planning. This is a true agriturismo on a working farm that includes fruits, wines, poultry, vegetables, etc. It is very quiet here. The rooms and common areas were every clean and well furnished. We picked this location because we felt it was centrally located between Parma, Modena, and Bologna. It served nicely as a base camp for visiting this region. It was nice getting chance to see how it really is on an Italian farm. Thanks Anna for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful time in the countryside at this small, basic, comfortable farmhouse.  The English-speaking host Anna couldn't have been more gracious.   She sets out a delicious breakfast of homemade cakes and jams.   She gave us a recommendation for a local restaurant in Bosco, which was delicious.  She even drove us to and from the restaurant when the driver in our group was ill.  She gave us an informal lesson in pasta making.  All in all, a lovely respite from city travel
