stayed for a week mid feb, had a great stay at this beautiful apartment, is set on a hill with fantastic views out to gomera and the cliffs to the right. the owner was lovely, easy to contact when we landed and met us on site to show us where to park, where things were and how everything worked. would definitely recommend this apartment to make the most of your holiday, everything you need is there.

“Fantastic Modern apartment would definitely recommend”

We recently stayed in this apartment over the new year period. The apartment is as seen in the advertising photos and is fully equipped with everything you need For a relaxing holiday. We stayed as a family of 4 (2 teenagers). The WIFI kept the kids amused and stopped them getting bored.
The apartment is stocked with more than enough dining ware with lots of additional items such as coffee peculator and orange juice squeezer. Please don't take a hair drier as there is one provided.
The furnishings are clean and modern and the apartment was spotless when we arrived. there was lots of towels provided and even beach towels.
The views from both balconies are breathtaking. Watching the winter sun go down was amazing.
I would recommend this apartment if you enjoy a slower paced holiday, we enjoyed visiting the beach in Playa la arena which is a ten minute walk. The pool area has sunbeds and the heated pool was warm, we didnt spend time here but area is clean and well maintained.
The area is quiet but that is why we like it. There are supermarkets within easy walking distance and a new mercadona is currently being built 5 minutes from the apartment. We can recommend Bobbys Indian on the front and the chinese next door also just down from Lidl on the left there is an italian called Dom? which was amazing sorry cant remember the name its two streets down.
Yulia was quick to respond to any queries we had which is a blessing when your not booking with agents.
We are hoping to return next year.

“Great Views, Fantastic Space”

We stayed here with two young children, a 3 year old and a 4 month old. There is lots of space available to spread out and play. The outdoor space is particularly good, with a fantastic outdoor kitchen and barbecue on the top floor. The apartment is situated up on the hill above the town. Views from both balconies across to Gomera are gorgeous. The lower balcony has full sunscreens, ideal if you want to stay out in the fresh air without burning to a crisp!

The apartment is well equipped, with a good range of reasonable quality kitchen equipment and crockery / glassware. Some of which is a bit well used, but that's a holiday let thing and should in no way put you off. The equipment also includes that massive rarity - sharp knives! Yulia also provides lots of towels for both domestic and beach use. Finally, wifi is included - we had struggles connecting the downstairs router, but the upstairs one worked just fine.

Beyond the apartment, having a parking space in the garage under the building removed the worries of parking a rental car on the street. The pool area is a bit stark - there is lots of Canarian style planting around the outsides but a fairly unforgiving concrete apron all around. But, there is plenty of space, with two pools for grown-ups and a 35cm toddler pool. Loungers are provided, but no parasols (as far as I could tell).

There isn't much in the immediate area of the flat in terms of leisure facilities or bars / restaurants, so you'll have to head down to the town for this. Whilst it's a short distance as the crow flies, the road you have to take is circuitous and very steep in places. The overall rise / fall between the apartment and the beach is significant. So this apartment may not be a good option for those with limited mobility, although saying that, there are plenty of taxis available in the town and they're cheap too - 3-4 Euros a time. There is a Lidl supermarket around the corner, about 10 mins walk, or a short drive.

Playa de la Arena itself is a relatively tranquil place, with a selection of family friendly bars and restaurants. There isn't much in the way of noisy nightlife or binge drinking, as far as we saw anyway. But, we were back in the apartment before 9 every night (yay, children), so this may not be authoritative. One thing to be careful of is that many of the restaurants seem to pre-reserve all of their outdoor tables. If you want to go somewhere specific, it might be worth trying to reserve a table in advance.

Service from Yulia was prompt and timely. All in all we had a great time staying in this apartment and are happy to recommend it.
