Being in the same room with one of the smallest mammals in the whole world . Wow! Hoping next time I could cuddle or play with them

I learned a lot about tarsier during that tour...it was my first time to see tarsier in real life. :)

Tourists should be briefed on proper interaction with the Tarsier. Lots of people were taking pictures too close to the primate, and sometimes, with flash even though there are several signs indicating not to use flash.

We were also pissed that one of the 'caretakers' woke up the Tarsier by shaking the 'tree' and took several pictures of it closely using the tourist's smartphone just so he can get a tip.

Only P8 from the awesome Nut Huts to the sanctuary. Make sure to get there when there is adequate daylight as their habitat is a bit dark for photos, flash photography is not allowed.
