This was by far my favourite, and the cheapest place I stayed in Bohol. Everything was leisurely and I particularly loved the fact that the restaurant staff were in flip flops on an Island in which hotels can be rather formal.
All staff were incredibly friendly, introducing themselves and ensuring that they get to know you - this didn't feel like it was done because it was required as part of the service, rather because they were nice people who genuinely took an interest and fancied a chat.
The food was superb - the grilled fish and pork which were sensory delights!
I was travelling on my own and it was one of the resorts in which I particularly felt that hanging in the restaurant/ bar in the evening was a great 'something to do when it's dark'.
There were lots of free activities to keep you busy whilst in the resort including trips up the river, either with a guide or taking a kayak alone. It's also great for kids, with the hotel making events out of day to day activities like feeding the chickens or goats.
They also have a lovely pool and great beds.
I'm glad a chose this particular place to stay in Loboc which seemed less well known to the locals and was possibly quieter than the more popular alternatives.More
