500php for normal buffet and 600php for the 'special' buffet. Food is poor for the price, and you go on a 'cruise' after lunch and to some native village. Tackiness on the next level. Save your money, go visit the tarsiers and butterflies instead.

When we hear of river cruise, sounds like a unique experience so we're always excited and very willing to try it. So we tried it!! But all this excitement turned into disappointment. Aside from its overpriced fee, the food was completely unsatisfying. Crabs were too small and soup wasn't that hot. For a buffet type, the drink is also limited! One soda wasn't enough that time. They should provide unlimited juice or even service water. The only good thing was the singer serenading the guests with his guitar and songs in different languages. That was very entertaining.

During the cruise, we were also approached by a photographer and volunteered to take photo of us using our camera but later on insisted to take photo using her DSLR saying that it's for the documentation of this tourist activity in Bohol. We didn't want to but we chose to be kind to her then after that, she was showing the photos and asking us to buy it for a cheap printing fee. We had to say no for a lot of times. The experience that was supposed to be relaxing was quite ruined. I hope they will try to improve their service especially their food knowing that Bohol is also a good destination for delicious and fresh seafood.

The meal cost is really overpriced whereas the items are quite poor. However, The trip overall is a must when you in Bohol. You can either enjoy food and live music when the boat cruising along Loboc river giving you the spectacular view along the banks of activities of the local living nearby. The boat will stop at a "singing house" on the river where gather alot of children and girls of a nearby villages in the very beatiful uniform singing very exciting and small guitar. That is really a great moment when singing and dancing with them.

But maybe it's because I'm fond of water. I rode the Busai Monark (from Loboc not Loay) which I think is the best boat on that river. It has a nice viewing deck which makes you appreciate the experience more. Go on that viewing deck in front of the boat (away from the singer and the driver). The scenery that unfolds is nice.

The river wasn't too clear because it had rained but I didn't really mind. The food was okay/ edible. Nothing great. There was a song and dance performance in one area where the boat stopped for a while and that was nice.

The cruise is relaxing and the view is nice but I have to say the food was not good. The problem is not the dishes, per se, it is the way they were done.

The thing I hated the most was stopping by the Ati tribe. I do not think interacting with tourists that was is going to be good for them in the long run. Even the young children were there holding all sorts of baby reptiles for tourists to have photos with in exchange for some tips. I understand that we are curious about their practices and customs but to show some of those in exchange for cash doesn't sound right.
