This is a beautiful hotel located 10-20km in the middle of nowhere... but totally worth it. The rooms were great, the staff was wonderful, etc. It was a surprise to find such a nice hotel in the middle of the farming fields. The one downside is that we felt underdressed as we came in t-shirts and shorts whereas most people were dressed up in suits and dresses.

The views from this place are incredible! The hotel is clean and modern. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom was quite large and clean. Staff was most attentive and friendly. The views were spectacular from both our room, the lounge and resturant. Food was very good at dinner and breakfast. Staff was extremely nice and a lovely waitress helped me get a breakfast tray to my son who wanted to sleep in and then refused a tip stating it was her pleasure to help. Doesn't get much better then that. Really nice place, most enjoyable and even had a small sample bottle of Bailey's in the room. Large dressing area and vanity table in the room as well. Nice desk and kettle for coffee and tea. Sitting area to enjoy your complimentary Bailey's upon arrival.

Room Tip: Room was quite comfortable and fantastic views. No a/c but you don't need it as the room cools o...

Stayed one night recently for dinner bed and breakfast. Overall a slightly disappointing experience. I think the hotel has mainly become a wedding venue and as such is possibly very good. The view from our room was fantastic but otherwise our delux room was very bland. No pictures on the walls, the only mirror hidden behind a wall, no bathrobes in the bathroom, which would be ok if the towels were large enough to cover anyone other than a small child. We didnt use the spa area, that had a €10 charge unless you were having a treatment, it was closed anyway the day we were there. There were lots of other notes about various extra charges including on the menu if you were booked on a package which all seemed a little penny pinching given the price of the rooms in the first place. The owners did walk around welcoming people but seemed a bit duitiful about it rather than anything else. Stayed before over 10 years ago when the hotel was much smaller, but doubt I would ever go back.

Room Tip: Do get a room with a view

Just back from stay booked through Supervalu getaway breaks. Room decor very dated...floral swags and tails and loads of very old pictures. Pink velvet headboards and very old bed clothes. Distinct smell of damp. Very disappointed after viewing pictures online to be honest. Having read review previously on whether you get the worst rooms when you don't pay full rates, I am inclined to agree after this experience!

Only this weekend mam was remembering and raving about the lovely weekend herself and my dad spent at Cromleach Lodge back in March! I never got a chance to post a review to thank the staff for making their break so enjoyable! I booked a weekend away for my parents as a 30th Wedding Anniversary present and they loved every minute of their stay. The staff even recognized their anniversary by personalizing their desserts to wish my parents a happy anniversary!!
They stayed in the Fuchsia Room, which they said was beautiful and they thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner.

Thank you for making it such a special anniversary present for them.

This place really is terrific.
We had wonderful views from our room (A Deluxe room it has to be said, but the views were like that from the restaurant/breakfast room & bar as well.)
The room was cavernous, without feeling impersonal & the en-suite likewise.
My partner & I thought it the most impressive room we'd stayed in & we've stayed in a few.
Service was excellent from check-in to check-out & throughout.
Really professional & friendly staff.
Breakfast was copious & good quality. We didn't eat an evening meal in the restaurant, but heard it was great from other guests.
The thermal areas were great too, with the jacuzzi out on decking with that view again!
If you want a busy place, then don't come here. It's in the countryside & is very quiet.
If you do want peace & tranquility however, have a few quid to spare for that special ocassion & are looking for that extra bit of quality, then you really should.
The only criticism I'd have would be the lack of Wi-fi in the bedroom & a slightly less than vigourous shower pressure. Very minor quibbles indeed.

Room Tip: De-luxe room fabulous. Others do not have those "views"

Most enjoyable stay in a lovely remote hotel in a much-underappreciated county, Sligo.
The accommodation was first class, as was the service received from all the very friendly staff. The food was excellently prepared, our only quibble being the use of a lot of unnecessary sauces accompanying the main courses, not to our taste, and in the case of fish courses tended to "kill" the delicate flavours of the lovely fresh fish.
The location is superb, overlooking Lough Arrow, and was ideally located for day trips. Terrific in the prevailing good weather while we were there.
