“neatly kept museum. If you're there, have a look!”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

gigantic roman villa, good museum but not that many artefacts, it is popular but one expected a bit more historical information.
The food in the roman museum is fantastic, apparently using traditional roman recepies. For disabled people or elderly, you're up for a walk of about 500m from the parking to the actual museum.

“Charming, but slightly disappointed”
Reviewed August 10, 2011

After having heard a lot about the Roman Villa Borg, we had quite high expectations of the place. Entrance fee was cheap (which is a positive), and the place itself was charming. However, we were a bit disappointed, as though there was items in the museum to look at, and you could walk around the "kitchen" gardens, the place was a lot smaller than we expected.

Also (and maybe we misunderstood something), we expected a proper Roman Bath. There is one there, but it was empty and not in use (so no point bringing a swimsuit..)

However, if you time your visit right, youo might be able to enjoy a Roman Gladiator show. We have not been to this so I cannot comment on whether or not it is worth the visit, but why not try it?

There is also a ROman Taverna at the location. Again we did not try this one, as it was difficult to get a table, and the menu was very highly priced..

If you are interested in Roman history, it could be worth a visit, but don't have to high expectations. And while you are in the area, I would recommend to explore the local vicinity as there is a lot of Roman history in the whole area...
