We used this place as a temporary home for several weeks following a relocation with work. The hotel is a fairly small, family run business in a quiet residential location. It is 500m from the Deisenhofen S-Bahn station and the S3, S20 and S27 lines. In addition, it is a 5 minute walk to the high street in Deisenhofen.
Our room, on the first floor, was well presented, clean and tidy. It wasn't massive but was perfect for what we needed. The bathroom was compact but again, was ideal for our purposes. The shower was excellent with a very powerful flow of water. The bed was very comfortable with two single duvets provided - which isn't unusual over here.
Breakfast was very good and typically German with a selection of cold meats, cheeses, rolls and cereals. They had a good selection of teas along with coffee and fruit juice. The breakfast room looked out onto a well maintained garden at the back of the hotel.
The staff, especially the two brothers, Martin and Stefan who run the hotel, were very friendly and welcoming. They did their best to make us feel at home during our stay.
I've already mentioned it but it is worth stating it again - the neighbourhood where the hotel is located is very quiet. You can hear the occasional car going by or S-Bahn train in the distance but apart from that the area is silent.
Overall we would recommend this hotel. It was far enough outside of Munich to be away from the Oktoberfest crowds but close enough that we could be in the centre of the city within 30 minutes at the most.

We chose to stay at a B&B away from the mayhem of Munich city centre during Oktoberfest. We were very happy with our decision- it took no time at all to get to the city, while we had the luxury of a calm, quaint home-base. The room and bathroom were exactly what we needed and the staff were very helpful and courteous. The town is also worth a walk around!

We priced many hotels in and around Munich area before arriving and many were very expensive. We decided to book this hotel because of the price and proximity to the metro. It was a good decision.....the rooms were great, clean, roomy. The location was within walking distance to Sbahn and easy access to Munich. The breakfast by the staff was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in and around Munich area.

Everything was good, excpet bathroom. We had two rooms (we have 4 children) at socond floor. The room was big, but the bathroom was very small. Service was great. The key-box worked as described, it's no big deal. Price is fair, we got 50% discount for second day. Train station for S5 is very close, Munich centre could be rached within 15 minutes by train without any car parking troubles.
