The hotel has a great location just off the peage West of Rouen. There is a Lidl literally next door and a couple of blocks closer to the town another supermarket with a 24/7 petrol station.
Friendly reception. Our dinner in the restaurant was OK - would suggest sticking to the set menus and to the house wines, otherwise the bill will stack up. My steak was worth the 19 Euros not so sure about the chocolate dessert at 5.50 Euros though.
We were again placed in a room that overlooked the front of the hotel (room 22). The air conditioning didn't work (30C outside) so we had to have the window open. Underneath our window we had 6 to 8 other guests enjoying beers, loaves of bread and making an horrendous noise until well after 11pm.
I did complain to reception about the noise but only received a Gallic shrug.
This was our third stay here and we will find somewhere else in future, which is sad
My tip which is too long for box below :
"Do not stay in rooms that overlook the front entrance as you will have lots of noise and if really unlucky, clouds of cigarette smoke drifting into room."More
