My wife and I stayed three night's in the "Barn" and it was very comfortable and cozy for the two of us. It also had a well stocked kitchen.
Two places to stay: the "Annie House" cottage and the Barn, 'La Grange d'Henri'. The Barn is setup as a duplex with modern decor. The Cottage I believe is more quaint.
But the very best part are the owners and hosts - Sarah-Jane & Gérald. Sarah-Jane was so helpful and informative about the area and Gérald is very expert in the local wines. The winery where Gérald works had some of the best wines we tasted in that region of the Loire Valley.
They made the Loire Valley one of the highlights of our trip to France.
While their location is a bit off the beaten path, the little village does have an excellent ($$$) restaurant - Trésor Belge - and no matter where you stay, you'll be driving around to see the chateaus and castles.
