So as with the Ibis chains and holiday inns ,you get very bogged down in this kind of accommodation
So it came as a pleasant surprise to actually enjoy staying at the F1 hotel
The guy on reception was very helpful with places to eat and with writing me down a recommended restaurant and directions to the ferry port for the next morning
The WiFi was decent, even though it was fairly busy on the night I stayed
Parking was in a gated lot Infront of the hotel
The room was clean and tidy
The bed was comfortable
I also like the door code to get into your own room ,so no key to have to remember ,nice and simple
No complaints ,it was a very convenient stop so I could catch the ferry to Dover in the am
Cheaper then most other properties I had looked at too !!

Allow half an hour to get to the ferry but do not go back to the Auto Route.
There is a cheap petrol station on the edge of the super store complex.
If you are fanatical about saving costs, diesel is often cheaper in Belgium.
The normal F1 standard. but very helpful staff over a mistake we made
Not having to wait for your en suite bathroom is quicker in the morning

i arrived to a smell of toilets, and bed linen strewn across the corridors, and party popppers left in the corridors. The room itself was acceptable but very cramped. As a single female traveller i was not happy about staying there - so in fact i left and found another hotel> I accept that the room rate was very reasonable but some of the basics were not right, it did not look and feel very clean

its a step up from camping or caraving the rooms are tidy and clean toilets arn't the best its somewhere to stop over night if you are travelling far. could do with upgrading the toilets so they are in the rooms and not in the corridors.
