“Country Hotel”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

we stayed here on the last night of our anniversary holiday and were very pleased with this choice. the irish owner was very friendly and helpful.
The building is lovely, the grounds a luxury extra and our room was graced with a comfortable bed. If you have read any of my reviews you will know that comfort is a major theme. At this hotel I left my memory foam topper in the car because the bed was absolutely fine! Both of us slept well. My quibble is that the lights were not very helpful for reading but it was great to have chairs and a table.
Breakfast was fine too in the dining room.
We paid extra for a river view, look at our photo, you will see it is worth it.
It is not far to the restaurants but too far to walk

Room Tip: river view is great

We stopped off on the way from mid-Spain to Paris on a Saturday night. We were made very welcome and a table at a very nice local restaurant was already booked for us. Spacious and stylish rooms with comfortable beds.
Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Garonne Rover was a very relaxing and calming prelude to the drive to Paris. Would recommend it heartily.

This little hotel is a special place. Our room was originally decorated and very comfortable for us and our 8 yr old son with a fantastic view of the river. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There is not a restaurant on site but we were directed to two within 4 km. the pool was good and breakfast was excellent on the terrasse. Lovely gardens with fruit trees.it was a very pleasant end to our holiday on the way to the Airport 20 minutes away.

Room Tip: Ask for room with over view.

More of an upmarket bed and breakfast that hotel but all the better for that. Great position overlooking the river. Friendly welcome and help with local info. Dog friendly. Do book a room with river view - worth the extra

If your looking for something a bit different a few minutes drive from Toulouse center then this hotel could be for you. Yes its not perfect, could do with a few touch ups here and there, and they don't have a restaurant, but the large room with a stunning view over the river we stayed in was charming and very clean. The staff are really friendly and are always keen to make your stay a good one. The gardens and local restaurants are very good. All in all we had a pleasant and relaxing time and will definatley return.

Room Tip: Always splash out on a view!! you will regret it if you dont!!

I have been staying to la Flanerie for several years now... This is high quality service and if you decide to book a Superior Room you will have an incredible view on the Garonne River. The Hotel is decorated in a antique style..Nearby you have a very quality Restaurant called Bellevue in Lacrix Falgarde (2 kms by Car).:

It's in a beautiful spot overlooking the river, but with a road separating it from the river and up a very narrow steep drive, which even with a small car we could only access from one direction. Not quite what you imagine from the photos. Also our satnav couldn't locate it by the postcode.

They don't do dinner and there are only a couple of restaurants within a short distance. One of these is closed on Mondays and the other on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so not much choice unless you want to drive into Toulouse.

We didn't bother with breakfast either at 9 euro a head as we had found a lovely cafe right on Place du Capitole in Toulouse for 5.80 euro each.

The room was fine, though at the rear of the hotel, so it faced a steep bank - so no view. Rooms with a view were more expensive.

There is no lift and quite a steep winding staircase, although we were helped with our cases without asking.

Room Tip: If you want a view be sure to choose this. No access for disabled that I could see.
