We visited this restaurant several years ago when it was Cote du Sud and it was super then, and it's just as super now. The food is innovative, beautifully presented and deelicious. We generally go on a Monday for lunch after visiting the local market. You must book if you want a table on a Monday as it is incredibly busy. On one ocassion I had Duck Carpaccio which was exquisite and so lovely to look at too. Service can be a bit slow, but they are delightful and efficient. A higher standard than many other restaurants in the Gers.

Whilst visiting family in Samatan, a relative recommended this restaurant.

My boyfriend and I went for lunch, on beautiful day in June this year. We were seated outside and had some white wine for a change (we usually drink red). The service was exceptional from the start. Our starters were superb; mine was beef carpaccio and my boyfriend's was foie gras. Our mains were equally delicious- we both opted for the duck, for which Samatan is famous for.

This meal was memorable for wonderfully cooked local cuisine, great service and fantastic location. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful part of France.

A bug kudo to a small and unassuming restaurant who serves one star Michelin lunches for 16 euros. It shows passion and total commitment to this difficult business. The service is impeccable and very professional. Bravo!

Went here on Trip Advisors reccomendation and was not disappointed. One set menu, 32€, with 3 choices of starter, main and dessert. Quality food, good service and pleasant resto. Only issue for us was we had to eat inside on a hot evening as there were showers in the area - we can't blame the resto for that!

This is a delightful restaurant. The staff are attentive but not obsequious or annoying. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food is delicious - interesting and cooked to perfection. The set menu at lunch time changes regularly and for 16 euros the food is a cut above the average 'cusine gersoise' with a 1/4 litre of wine (better than plonk) per person and coffee included.
