Stayed at Bahia Playa in Tarajalejo first week of january and really enjoyed it ! The hotel is fairly quiet due to the "no kid" policy. Clients were mostly couples, of all ages. Most clients seemed to be german, but there are also some french, spanish etc ... I liked the design of the hotel. Rooms are large, clean, with a modern touch. We had a room above the swimming pool, but it seems worthwhile to pay a little extra for a room with a seaview, as the location of the hotel is stunning. Food is fine for an all inclusive place, better than I expected. Nothing to complain about. Drinks are not great but the rosé wine is OK ... that's what we drunk all week ! Tarajalejo is a rather dull village. Nothing to write home about (same with the island as a whole ---> I much prefer Lanzarote) but the black sand beach is beautiful. We rented a car for a week. That means we could go round the island, visit villages and other beaches. I would advise to rent a car from the airport as rates are lower.25 € per day at the aiport, 45€ from the hotel. Another good thing about Bahia Playa is the staff. I found people working there to be generally very nice, especially staff at reception.
