This is the fourth visit, so we obviously like it. We took an old caravan and left there with Le King. Our French isn't too good and they don't speak English so it was helpfull of the staff to arrange an apointment and sort out the smaller details. We've noticed more staff are speaking English, (it has to be remembered) we were only 1 of 2 English couples on this site (a reason we like it!) yet we were always treated well. You can quite literally stay on the site if you wanted and not feel your going without as the amenaties are outstanding and the beach is at the front door! Out and about there is the usual French attractions, zip lines, horse riding, canoeing etc, lots of bustling sideside towns and Carcasonne (a must) is an hour away. The canal du Midi, Seté etc. We travelled by car (pulling the caravan) but met the inlaws there who flew in from Manchester to Beziers' Airport. Very family friendly, clean and well kept.
Only issues can be noisy after 12 p.m (due to a loud campsite next door) but it is always quiet by 2 am.
The bar-snacks place can be hit and miss and of course, and this a complaint towards France in general, the price of soft drinks and icecream is very expensive.More
