“Great location”

This apartment is only about 50 metres from the beautiful sandy beach of the Guadalquivir. Although the block itself is not attractive and was fairly empty when we stayed, it is well maintained and the apartment itself is spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. We particularly liked the balcony which is sunny from about 2pm until you watch the spectacular sunset. We were too early in the year to use the pool, but it is large and well looked after and would be nice in the summer. Although there is no dedicated parking there is ample on street parking round about.
The block is right beside the prom which stretches in both directions. On one side it takes you to Bajo de Guia, with its bars, restaurants and boat trips. On the other side it's quiter buta very pleasnt walk. It's also a short walk up to the main square of Sanlucar with its dozens of tapas bars and restaurants and slightly further on the the old town on the top of the hill with its palaces, churches and castle. There are not many English speaking tourists in the area but we just tried out the various tapas and the local speciality tipple, manzanilla, and were delighted with the quality and value for money everywhere.
Marta, the owner, is extemely conscientious in replying to queries and helping you in every way possible (including coming to find us when we couldn't locate the block).
I would thoroughly recommend this aprtment and Sanlucar in general if youy
want to try something which is more typically Spanish than the Costa del Sol.
